Those who know Sasha Banks, aka Mercedes Moné, would know her resilient personality. She has made a name for herself wherever she went. After walking out from WWE, it didn’t take much time for her to become an NJPW superstar. Even now, when she got severely injured during NJPW Resurgence, it didn’t take her a week to come back strong in the public eye.

This troubling incident with Moné happened at the PPV while she clashed against Willow Nightingale for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. She suffered a severe ankle injury while performing a move from the top of the ring post. Despite suffering the injury mid-match, the former IWGP Women’s Champion completed the fight. Not only did she show her resilience inside the ring, but outside as well.
