Fans have gone through an emotional rollercoaster ride, throughout the storyline of Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. The legendary luchador is respected by many in the wrestling community and has been part of some intriguing feuds in his career. But it is his rivalry with his son that has drawn more attention than ever.

The father and son have been at a crossroads since their feud in 2022. Recently, the heat between them peaked after Dom took it a step too far. However, Rey Mysterio taught him some discipline, at WrestleMania 39. Furthermore, the Master of 619 has an interesting idea to put an end to their feud, once and for all.

In a recent episode of Impaulsive, Logan Paul sat across from one of the most iconic luchadors in WWE. The two filmed this episode, way before they fought their respective opponents at WrestleMania 39. The 2023 WWE Hall of Fame inductee spoke about his ongoing feud with his blood and kin.

‘The Ultimate Influencer’ shared his feelings about Rey Mysterio constantly being humiliated by his own son. He said, “Like when is it too far? It really makes me sad dude” and added “I don’t want to see Dom just trashing you… every week.” And asked Mysterio how he plans to put an end to it.

Mysterio said, “Maybe I put my mask on the line against his hair and which is some Lucha culture. And, if I lose I take my mask off., and if he loses he shaves his hair off.”

Therefore, Rey Mysterio is ready to put his mask on the line, to challenge his son for a final match. The father would end up losing his mask, while the son could have to shave his head if he ends up on the losing side.

Rey Mysterio proposed an ultimate battle between father and son, with him ready to put his mask on the line. Fans might know the mask is a sacred symbol of Lucha Libre culture in Mexico, and all wrestlers must wear it. In fact, Mysterio has never removed his mask during his time in WWE particularly when is in front of the cameras.

Therefore, it’d be interesting to see if Dominik Mysterio wins and finally unmasks his father. Or The Judgement Day member could end up getting shaved bald? Fans would definitely tune in to see if the stakes are so high. But, nothing is official, as yet.
