Dwayne Johnson Proves He’s Pretty Close to Disney, Adding Fuel to Replacing Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean

Dwayne Johnson has always proved nothing is impossible for him. Since the beginning of his career, Johnson has aimed to achieve everything he wanted. Whether be it a successful WWE run or becoming a mainstream actor in Hollywood, he has achieved it.

Currently, Dwayne Johnson is excited to bring XFL to a larger scale. He purchased the league from his former boss, Vince McMahon, and aimed to take it to the heights it has never been. The recent success was signing a TV deal with Disney and ESPN.

Johnson and his business partner, Dany Garcia, recently had a meeting with Walt Disney’s President over the future contracts.

The meeting was a success between Dwayne Johnson and Walt Disney. However, the officials present were Disney’s President, Michael Sean Bailey, and Chief Marketing Officer of Seven Bucks Production, Maya Lasry. He shared the picture on his social media and called them “hardest workers in the room” in the caption.

In the caption, he wrote, “Two of my favorite human beings to build business with 🥃 @michaelseanbailey President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and founding @teremana investor 🥃 @mayalasry Chief Marketing Officer for Seven Bucks Companies and founding @teremana investor 🥃 aka #bossmama.”

Also, Walt Disney President, Michael Sean Bailey, and Chief Marketing Officer of Seven Bucks Production, Maya Lasry are prime investors in Johnson’s Teremana Tequilla brand. This makes their business relations much stronger. This can be a hint at Disney trying to sign the former WWE champion for various movie roles in the future.

A few weeks ago, there were rumors of Dwayne Johnson replacing Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. This news broke after Depp refused to reprise the role and Johnson revealed his aspiration to do a pirate movie.

In a recent post, Johnson has called Walt Disney’s President a favorite person to work with. Also, with Disney’s history of casting actors with minimal controversy, they can sign The Rock in the Pirates of the Caribbean. There are rumors of him replacing Will Smith as Genie in Aladdin 2 in the near future, too.

The XFL owner has already done four Disney movies, and it seems more are on their way. The Rock has paved a way for himself in his career. From being a football player to WWE superstar and then from WWE superstar to becoming the highest-paid Hollywood actor.
