Dwayne Johnson made his long-awaited written to the WWE ring on SmackDown last Friday. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement after seeing him in the ring after such a long time. He entered the ring after receiving his cue from Pat McAfee, who was in a verbal brawl with Austin Theory. It is when The People’s Champion made his entrance. Despite sharing the ring for the first time with the legend, things started on a wrong note. Johnson ended up giving Theory his signature People’s Elbow. During the physical brawl, The Rock ended up tossing Theory’s shoes in the crowd. But away from the kayfabe world, DJ proved once again why he is so loved.

The way Johnson made up for it backstage shows why he still commands respect within these circles.

After the confrontation was over, Theory was sitting in the ring panting. That’s when Johnson threw one of Theory’s shoes into the crowd. Although it felt like a new rivalry had started, Johnson made up for his missing shoe. According to WWE insider BWE, Austin Theory got his new pair of shoes. The Yeezys which reportedly cost $600 were gifted to him. And The Great One made sure he gifted Theory his signature white-colored shoes.

The Ball Arena in Denver Colorado was lit up as The Rock made his unexpected return. Pat McAfee and Austin Theory were already in an argument when he showed up. After a few one-liners, Theory attacked The Rock. This resulted in The Rock hitting a spine buster and delivering The People’s Elbow to show him who is the boss.

Johnson showed how big-hearted he is. However, this isn’t the first time The Rock has won people over with his act of generosity, this feels quite tiny in front of it.

Johnson’s acts of kindness

A lot of fans are aware of Johnson’s early life. He was never ashamed of sharing how difficult things were for him and his family but he never backed down from it. And now he makes sure to give it back, especially to the ones who were there for him in difficult times. A couple of years ago, he gifted a former WWE manager a pick-up truck as a token of appreciation.

Former WWE manager Bruno Leur worked under the name of Harvey Wippleman. They’ve known each other for a long time as he was the one who helped Johnson and his mother in times of need. Apparently, Leur helped Johnson buy his first car which cost him a mere of $40.
