Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Details His Childhood Dream Coming True After Decades of Struggle: “God and the Universe Works in This Amazing Way”

Earlier this year, the Hollywood Megastar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson cut an incredible promo at the NFL Super Bowl LVI. The Rock made an “electrifying” introduction to the two NFL teams. Dwayne Johnson had mentioned that playing for a football team was his lifelong dream. Instead, however, he created a fortune in the world of professional wrestling.

So, actor-wrestler almost returned to the football field after three decades. In addition, just a moment before the kick-off, The Rock took to the center of the football field to hype up SoFi Stadium.

Then, Johnson officially introduced the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals in his breathtaking fashion.

The Rock and a microphone!

As his persona, we have always seen The Rock with the most “electrifying” energy. However, when Dwayne could not achieve his childhood dream and when he got to kick off the NFL Super Bowl were two things in contrast.

Former WWE world champion recently appeared in the USA TODAY interview with Bryan Alexander. The two discussed the upcoming Young Rock series and The Rock making it to the Super Bowl. The host asked Dwayne Johnson about being nervous at SoFi Stadium.

Dwayne replied, “I live and thrive in that space and love it – 80,000 people, microphone in hand, live TV. The kicker had the ball in his hand, ready to put it on the tee. I have Sean McVay [LA Rams, head coach] yelling at me, ‘Rock, come on, let’s go.’”

The Great One has an optimistic approach towards the challenges he faces. But, since Dwayne Johnson was a part of the wrestling industry, we have seen him with the same approach towards his opponents.

The wrestler turned actor Dwayne Johnson also stated that there was no reason for him to get anxious at bedlam. The Rock mentioned that since it was his persisting dream to play in the NFL; he wanted to achieve that dream in his style.

“But that was my dream. I wanted to play in the NFL and go to the Super Bowl. But God and the universe works in this amazing way. So, I was on the field, and that was a dream come true,” Johnson added.
