Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Reveals Massive XFL News

Vince McMahon and the XFL made a return in the year 2018. However, only after five weeks of play in its inaugural 2020 season, the league was halted because of the global pandemic. Then, in August 2020, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson brought the league from Vince McMahon.

Dwayne Johnson is very excited about the future of XFL and recently they announced the next season for February 2023. ‘The Rock’ was at the Super Bowl this year to call the match and promote XFL.

Recently, XFL President Russ Brandon announced three key new hires ahead of the 2023 season launch. Russ Brandon took to Twitter to announce the news.

He quoted, “So excited to announce three more additions to @XFL2023. Thrilled to have Amanda join us and Paul and Anthony return as we gear up for 2023. Our team is getting bigger and stronger every day.”

Dwayne The Rock Johnson got overwhelmed by this news and replied to Russ Brandon on Twitter, saying,

“Hungry new executive hires ready for our @XFL2023 🏈 Thank U to our XFL President, Russ Brandon for this key announcement. From our exciting alignment with the @NFL to more big announcements coming soon, we are in lockstep and taking our time to do it right. #growthegame #owner”

The XFL in February this year had announced an agreement with the NFL to allow for the experimentation of proposed rules, testing of new equipment, and the development of prospective officials and coaches.

In his younger days, Dwayne Johnson himself wanted to play professional football, however, that could not happen. After buying the XFL Dwayne will get a chance to contribute to professional football by giving an opportunity to many young talents across the USA. The league will have eight teams and is ready to mark the new age in professional football.

Trailer for Young Rock season 2 is out

Last year Dwayne The Rock Johnson and NBC announced the Young Rock series. The series was based on the childhood of The Rock. It features many wrestling entities. The series ended with young Dwayne Johnson reaching Canada for him to join his football team, Calgary Stampeders.

Recently Dwayne announced the trailer launch for the second season of Young Rock on his Twitter. The trailer shows the next step in Dwayne’s career, entering the world of pro-wrestling.
