The former 24/7 Champion Elias returned to RAW after WrestleMania. Now, though, Elias will now go by the name Ezekiel, the younger brother of Elias in WWE. 

Elias interrupted Kevin Owens while he was cutting a promo about his WrestleMania match against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Everyone was shocked to see him and could not believe that he was Ezekiel.

The WWE Universe shared their reactions on social media. The fans were shocked about the repackaging of Elias since his last appearance in WWE. 

A fan trolled WWE for the booking of Elias on Twitter saying, “Elias if he got traded to the Yankees”

This is how many other fans were trolling WWE on social media when they saw the returning Elias on RAW. It is unclear if WWE is thinking of a particular storyline with this, but the first appearance of Ezekiel was not over the fans.

Moreover, sometime later Ezekiel posted a tweet from Elias’s account saying, “Hey guys, since Elias is gone, I’ll be taking over his Twitter, I’m his younger brother – Ezekiel!”

It is not yet revealed where Elias is gone, and why Ezikiel has come to WWE. The storyline will be revealed in the upcoming episodes of RAW where Ezikiel will primarily be on for some time.

What will be the first feud for Ezekiel?

Ezekiel made his appearance while The Prizefighter was cutting a promo. Kevin Owens was confused at first and thought Ezekiel was ‘Elias’.

Fans Erupt on Social Media as Two WWE Superstars Make Their Much Awaited Return to Raw

WWE posted the picture on their official social media saying, “……ELIAS?!”. It was the same words of Kevin Owens when Ezekiel came to the ring.

As Ezekiel appeared during this segment, it feels like Owens will have a feud with Ezikiel for a brief period of time. Owens is not part of any storyline after WrestleMania and Elias, as Ezikiel needs an opponent to move in a new direction. 

When was Elias last seen in WWE?

Elias had formed Tag Team with Jason Ryker in December 2020. They both challenged for RAW tag team titles against the then champions AJ Styles and Omos. They portrayed him as a mentor to Jason Ryker on RAW.

However, when they could not win the titles, their tag team was split, and they both were involved in a feud for some time until they released Ryker from WWE. They then showed him once in August 2022, burning his guitar. That was the last appearance of Elias in WWE.
