Every Hint That CM Punk Has Laid Out for Fans to Build Up His Potential Return to WWE

WWE has confirmed that ‘The Apex Predator’ Randy Orton will return at Survivor Series Wargames this Saturday. Will the same happen for CM Punk? In the recent past, ‘The Second City Saint’ denied all claims of his return to the upcoming premium live event.

Despite his denial, we believe that he might show up to the Stamford-based promotion, which used to be his home once on Saturday. We believe so because he has dropped a couple of hints along the build-up to the event taking place in his hometown, Chicago.

Whether ‘The Best in the World’ will return to WWE is a question that will be answered eventually in a matter of a few days. But right now, it seems as if there is a 50-50 chance of his return at Survivor Series. And we say this because Punk himself has teased the wrestling fandom a couple of times, hinting at his comeback to the Stamford-based promotion.

A short while ago, he teased the WWE Universe while showcasing a snippet of his workout session. His Instagram story featured the Survivor Series theme song, “War Pigs”. The whole wrestling fandom has been on edge since his AEW release and his WWE return rumor, and he just knows how to trigger the internet. He again teased the fans a few days later.

Why is Punk teasing the WWE Universe?

The second round of teasing came when Punk shared his infamous promo trailer from the 2012 WWE Hell in a Cell on his Instagram story. Again, it stirred up commotion in the wrestling community, with fans getting their hopes up for his potential return.

As mentioned before, he has denied his return to Survivor Series. Then why is he dropping tease bombs now and then? The answer may be that he is actually planning to return and only rejected the claims because he wants to build more drama around his comeback.

Well, ‘The Straight Edge Savior’ loves drama, so at this point, hoping a simple return is out of the equation. If that’s what he is trying to go for, then it’s certainly working. The wrestling community is constantly buzzing with talks of his return. Though other interesting things are going on as we progress on the road to Survivor Series, fans can’t just get him out of their heads.
