Over the past few months, LA Knight has proven himself to be one of the best talkers on the mic. While many compare him to legends like Stone Cold and Dwayne Johnson, Knight’s approach is also too realistic. He recently gave his opinion on the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and it felt like him breaking the fourth wall.

This comes days before their big clash at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 4, 2023.

LA Knight has seen a phenomenal rise in his popularity since Fastlane 2023. After teaming up with John Cena and facing Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikao of The Bloodline, Knight is after the Head of the Table. Getting boosted by Cena during the season premiere of SamckDown, Knight is ready for the Tribal Chief, who he does not consider to be a great champion.

Ahead of Crown Jewel 2023, Knight sat down to talk about his match on WWE’s The Bump on Nov. 1, 2023. Apart from being asked how he is preparing for the match, he was asked to give him an assessment of Reigns as a champion. Knight did not have kind words for Reigns during his assessment.

Knight said, “My assessment is that everybody is sick of that.” He elaborated that Reigns, despite being a champion, did not defend his title as much as it would make his run interesting. Doing the maths, he calculated 1 title defence match in four months. Knight added, “Four defenses a year and we’re celebrating the fact that he’s been champion for 1200 days.”

Knight went on to talk about Crown Jewel and how he was going to end the tyranny of Reigns. Despite being a champion for 1200 days, Knight claimed that Reigns would not survive the business end of the BFT. In conclusion, he said that he was going to be the new champion. But, fans are doubtful that he would win.

Possible reasons why LA Knight may not win at Crown Jewel

Despite being the fan favorite to win the WWE Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel, Knight may not walk out as the champ. After the viral video of Paul Heyman claiming that people who were sick of Reigns winning were about to get sicker, speculation began to spread. Fans believe Reigns may drop the title at WrestleMania 40 with some involvement of Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

The Rock’s return to SmackDown spiked the speculations of his involvement with The Bloodline. However, no official words have been said by the WWE regarding the matter. Fans are hopeful that WWE will give a tease of the speculated feud around WrestleMania season.
