The latest edition of NXT was nothing short of spectacular, as the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins accepted Bron Breakker’s challenge. In addition, the show was filled with action-packed matches. One of the most interesting matches during the show saw a female talent paying tribute to The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. The star in question is The Spartan Warrior, Thea Hail.

Thea Hail went head-to-head with Cora Jade. While Jade gained control of the match from the bell, a distraction from Dana Brooke allowed Thea Hail to capitalize. During the closing moments of the match, Thea Hail used the Kimura lock, made famous by Brock Lesnar in WWE, to pick up the win via submission.

The Kimura lock is one of the deadliest weapons in Brock Lesnar’s arsenal. The Beast Incarnate introduced the submission move in WWE after he made his return from UFC. The Kimura Lock, when synched in properly, is impossible to break from. Once locked in, the recipient is at the mercy of the attacker. Thea Hail taking a page out of Lesnar’s book on NXT was highly appreciated by the fans.

Although Thea Hail won the match with a little assist from Dana Brooke, the Kimura Lock became the high point of their entire match.

While some fans admired Thea Hail’s performance, others are concerned about Cora Jade’s longstanding losing streak. Nevertheless, after what transpired, it’s conspicuous that Cora Jade will pursue Dana Brooke to exact her revenge.

Moreover, there is a list of wrestlers who have had their arms broken by Brock Lesnar’s Kimura Lock. Lesnar was last seen in action during his match against Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions.

The match ended up in a stoppage after Brock Lesnar locked Rhodes in the Kimura lock, rendering Rhodes to pass out.

Rhodes gained a rare win over Brock Lesnar at Backlash. But, he wasn’t able to get a clean pinfall win by incapacitating Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns is one of the fewest wrestlers to have proven his dominance over The Beast when he defeated Brock Lesnar and claimed the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38.

While speaking on Foley is Pod, Mick Foley stated that it is “important” for Cody Rhodes to defeat Brock Lesnar. He said, “I think it’s important that the title not go to Cody because I think what Cody is going through in this series Brock Lesnar is giving him the credential, so that when he does — and I think there will definitely be a moment where he becomes that guy, everyone will feel like he deserved it,”
