Former WWE Champion Strongly Believes CM Punk Will Be Bigger in Hollywood Than Pro Wrestling

Former WWE superstar CM Punk recently expressed his wish to be in Hollywood. He name-dropped former WWE superstar and Hollywood star, Dave Bautista as his ‘guiding star.’
Recently, this wish made its way to Bautista very soon, and the Hollywood superstar responded. It seems CM Punk has Bautista’s nod of approval when it comes to the ‘Best in the World‘s Hollywood career.
Bautista not only approves Punk’s plan, but he also mentioned that Punk is capable of becoming the next big thing. The Guardians of the Galaxy star wrote, “I already knew this. And the talent is obvious. He’s going to be bigger in films than he was in wrestling. Save this tweet.”

Bautista is a regular in Marvel Cinematic Universe where he plays the role of ‘Drax the Destroyer’. Recently he played the lead role in the Zack Snyder-directed blockbuster “Army of the Dead.”

CM Punk is not a stranger to Hollywood
While he was in WWE, CM Punk had a small venture into the glitz and glamour world of Hollywood. He had roles in The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown! and, Queens of the Ring.
After he departed from WWE, Punk has acted in a couple of films. He acted in Girl on the Third Floor (2019), Rabid (2019) and, Jakob’s Wife (2021). All three movies above were horror movies.
