This good news comes in the form of a new movie project, featuring The Prototype.

The WWE legend is involved in popular Hollywood projects every now and then. However, the new announcement will make Cena fans want to book movie tickets as soon as they get to know about it.

The movie project that Dave Meltzer’s newsletter talked about has already been produced. To invoke nostalgia among the Hollywood audience, Warner Bros Studios has produced a live-action ‘Barbie’ movie. The trailer has already been dropped on the internet with the movie all set to release on the 20th of July this year. Although Cena appears nowhere in the trailer, he reportedly has a role to play in the movie.

It is also being reported that he will play the role of popular popstar Dua Lipa’s love interest. Fans should also note that since Lipa will be seen as a mermaid Barbie, Cena may also be transformed into a ‘merman’.

Reportedly, he is on a scheduled Hollywood break, making him available for more WWE projects in the meantime. However, fans should look out for his role in the upcoming movie of a $6 billion franchise.
