It is no secret Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel have no love lost between them. Their personal beef dates back to 2006 when the former publically yet indirectly called out the latter for being a troublesome co-star. Since then, the two stars have not been on the same boat.

Both stars are integral characters in the Fast and Furious franchise. But the tension between them led ‘The Great One’ to part ways with the Fast and Furious family. He has been absent from the movie franchise for quite a while. He last appeared in the 2019 franchise installment, Hobbs and Shaw.

Fans have been waiting for his return ever since, and now the wait is over. He recently confirmed that he is returning to the franchise. Plus, in an online video, he also talked about facing a big issue after joining the franchise again following a feud with his co-star.

Luke Hobbs being back was the hardest secret to keep, says Dwayne Johnson

Johnson recently shared a video on his Instagram post confirming that he and Vin Diesel have buried the hatchet. Therefore, he will return to the upcoming installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. He will reprise his role of Agent Luke Hobbs in Fast X Part 2.

He also revealed that a Hobbs spinoff movie is in the makes. According to the star, the production will release this movie before Fast X Part 2. However, he didn’t provide any further details about the spinoff movie. In addition, he also expressed the pleasure he felt after seeing his fans’ excitement about the news of his return.

In the Fast X movie’s post-credits scene, the 51-year-old actor made a surprise appearance as Luke Hobbs. Fans all around the world were thrilled to see his cameo role in the movie. All these reactions from the fans humbled and satisfied the actor.
