In the world of WWE, the wrestlers get injured now and then. They even suffer serious setbacks in their career because of this. One such recent example of it will be Robert Roode, a Canadian wrestler who signed with WWE in 2016. 

According to some rumors, the inactive wrestler was about to come back to the ring soon. However, now an injured picture of him is on the news.

Since he joined hands with WWE under the NXT brand, his career as a wrestler seems pretty on and off. Now, again, a setback due to the injury might distress him and his wrestling career. 

Fans react to Roode’s surgery

When people were expecting the 46-year-old wrestler to make a thrilling comeback. The news of his neck injury shattered all their hopes. Roode himself disclosed he just underwent a neck fusion surgery. 

In the Instagram post, he thanked his doctors and all the staff of the hospital for taking care. As mentioned in the post, his C-5 and C-6 vertebrae surgery are complete.

He is now hopeful of the upcoming days as he states, “Now the work begins.” However, looking at his picture and understanding the seriousness of the surgery led to several assumptions. Some might be true, as most people think Roode will be out of action for some more time.

Just after getting the news, the WWE fans reacted on Twitter. Some expressed their opinions on Robert Roode’s career, and others wished a speedy recovery to the wrestler. 

Most of the fans feel relief knowing the fact that the wrestler the recovering. They just need Roode to recover as fast as possible. So, they can see him in the WWE ring.

The fans were a little disappointed also, as they were expecting Roode’s arrival. But now they received the news of his injury.

Robert Roode’s not so noteworthy journey in WWE

Due to this, Roode will clearly be out of the ring for a good time in the upcoming days. This brings us back to his not-so-great performance history in World Wrestling Entertainment.

He has not been an active player during his time in the ring. Most of the time, he was injured or couldn’t perform as per expectations. However, we hope for Robert Roode to recover fast and show us some of his best moves in the ring asap.
