Dwayne Johnson has enamored fans worldwide thanks to his workout routine and ripped physique at the age of 50. The Hollywood star constantly mentions that he is the hardest worker in the room and strives hard to live up to that billing.

Having made his career as a WWE star and now a top Hollywood actor, The Rock is also a fitness icon too many.

He advises his fans to train intensely and maintain a healthy diet as he does. However, there have been questions raised over DJ’s physique for some time now as to whether it is all-natural.

The Brahma Bull bulks up even a little more when he has to play a specific role in one of the movies. Recently, he got jacked up for his role as the superhero Black Adam.

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has been raising a lot of questions around the ‘purity’ of The Rock’s physique and even called on him to come clean regarding it.

In his podcast, Rogan also mentioned how actors like DJ can learn a thing or two from Hollywood star Mickey Rourke about being clear about the use of performance-enhancing drugs and hormone replacement therapy.

Dwayne Johnson gets a lot of praise for motivating and inspiring his fans through his workout videos. The Rock’s physique is something every fan may aspire for and he has kept his jacked-up appearance even at the age of 50.

But now Joe Rogan has raised some questions about the real nature of the former WWE Champion’s body. Speaking on his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the MMA and UFC personality discussed DJ’s physique with fitness educator Derek.

Rogan said that DJ needs to come clean on his bodybuilding history and admit to using HRTs. Rogan said there is nothing wrong with the use of HRTs but they have to be honest with the public.

Derek then questioned what should an actor do if they are quizzed about them peaking their physique for a movie role like Chris Hemsworth for Thor. Rogan replied that they should be open about it and admit it.

Rogan cited the example of actor Mickey Rourke, who admitted to using anabolic steroids during the filming of his hit movie The Wrestler, for which he also won an Oscar.

Joe Rogan said, “Shout out to Mickey Rourke. When he did The Wrestler he told everybody. I think he did one of those shows like a Letterman or …. He’s like ‘I was on a ton of sh*t.. I take a lot of stuff.'”

He also mentioned how Rourke’s character in the film was of a person who had fallen on hard times and not of a hero the likes of which DJ portrayed in Black Adam.

Rogan added, “When Mickey Rourke did it he did it for the Wrestler. He talked about doing steroids for the Wrestler and that was a movie that wasn’t really about a hero.”

Although the UFC commentator has been an admirer of Dwayne Johnson’s physique and his workout sessions in the past, he has now begun questioning the authenticity and wants him to be honest with his fans.
