Meeting The Undertaker is a pipe dream not only for fans, but also for the young members of the WWE roster. The aura of the Deadman is so powerful and mystifying, it separates him from the rest of the WWE locker room.

Roman Reigns and Undertaker share a mutual respect

Roman Reigns and the Undertaker have a storied rivalry in WWE. They only faced each other twice in the ring, and have partnered for a tag team match, but the mutual respect both men have for each other is immense.

It all started when Roman eliminated the Undertaker from the Royal Rumble match in 2017. Undertaker would go on to challenge Reigns to a WrestleMania match where Roman dominated Taker and destroyed him in a 30-minute slugfest.

In a sneak peek to the documentary, Roman Reigns gave viewers an insight into how he met Taker.

“He was a good friend of the family”, said Roman. “Back then he used to ride with my cousin Yokozuna and they wrestled all over the world.”

Roman’s first conversation with the Deadman came in Washington D.C.

“It was literally right after I had this done (points to arm tattoo)”.

Reigns revealed that Taker used tattoos as an icebreaker to start a conversation with Reigns. Both Reigns and Taker have very iconic tattoos on their skin that add to their aura as certified bada**es.

“It was a nice and easy conversation,” said Reigns. “I was talking to Mark and not Undertaker, so it was communicating and socializing with our superiors essentially”.

This proves that Taker was one of the nicest people to talk to backstage. Roman went on to tag with the Undertaker at Extreme Rules 2019 against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon.
