One such incident was when the wrestler showed up for a kid’s ‘Make-A-Wish’ to fulfill his desire.

A video on ‘X’ shows Cody Rhodes appearing to make a child’s ‘Make-A-Wish’ come to life. Rhodes was most probably the personality that the child wanted to meet. So, through the foundation, he asked for his desire to come true. The busy pro wrestler took out time from his schedule to grant the child his wish. The two even ended up having a wholesome conversation.

After opening up with a heartwarming ice-breaker, the child asked Rhodes if he hates getting ‘screwed over’ in matches. Rhodes agreed by saying that he felt this way at his WrestleMania 39 match. Then, the young fan said, “I actually thought you would win! I’d like to damn Solo Sikoa because if you were… like, panic him and he wouldn’t come out, you must have been the champion.

To this, Rhodes replied, “I was a 100% under the impression I was gonna win. And I think the entire SoFi stadium was thinking we would win.

While this is a wholesome moment in itself, it’s also not the first time that Rhodes has made a special fan feel special. In fact, the wrestler did so a few months ago during a live WWE show.

Not Cody Rhodes’ first time making kids feel special

During a SmackDown match back in March 2023, Cody Rhodes became the star of the night with one simple move. The babyface had taken a small part in someone’s “Make-A-Wish” charity. While the child was probably there to see the match from a ringside seat, Rhodes came in, read his sign, and in a heartfelt moment, picked up the kid. He waved at the audience alongside him.

Even though the wrestler wasn’t directly related to the little boy’s wish, he still walked an extra step to make his night even better. While the boy got to enjoy a precious, heartwarming moment, the world also got to see the golden heart of The American Nightmare.
