“He’s Got Mental Health Issues”: Despite Being His Fan, Wrestling Veteran Advised WWE to Get Rid of Bray Wyatt

In the world of professional wrestling, some talents struggle to find their footing despite having immense potential. Among many such names one stands out and that is of Bray Wyatt. The former WWE Champion had a roller-coaster career in WWE. Multiple transformations and hiatuses marked it since his dark match debut in 2009. Now a wrestling veteran expressed concerns about Bray Wyatt, urging WWE to let him go.

Wyatt returned to WWE to much fanfare in 2022 after his release from WWE in 2021. But since then despite, promising much, he hasn’t been able to deliver for the fans.

Bray Wyatt’s wrestling odyssey has been intriguing, to say the least. From his beginnings in FCW in 2009 to his time in NXT under Husky Harris. He has undergone character transformations and story arcs. He returned in 2019 with a persona featuring multiple personalities, but despite fan support, he faced setbacks and was released in 2021. However, he surprisingly reappeared at Extreme Rules in 2022, adopting a new persona blending his various identities.

His last feud with LA Knight failed to ignite interest in his character. Wyatt was scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at this year’s WrestleMania but couldn’t make it to the event due to undisclosed health issues. The former Wyatt Family leader has remained off WWE TV since then. 

Speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, he admired Wyatt but suggested WWE should part ways with him. He said- “Big Bray Wyatt fan, but he’s too much trouble, he’s got mental health issues, his matches aren’t good, and as creative as he is, three million dollars for what he’s doing? Yeah, get rid of him.”

Konnan pointed out concerns about mental health issues affecting Wyatt, along with criticisms of his in-ring performances despite his creative abilities.

The wrestler’s reported salary of three million dollars annually raised eyebrows, leading to Konnan’s call to “get rid of him.” However, there’s been a bunch of buzz lately with rumors circulating about Waytt making a comeback!

SummerSlam speculation around Wyatt’s return

Wyatt has been MIA from WWE television since the road to WrestleMania this year, but the countdown for his return may have kicked off. The buzz about his potential TV comeback is spreading like wildfire, and SummerSlam 2023 is the stage for his significant return.

As Wyatt’s absence from WWE continues, speculation surrounds his possibility of showing up at SummerSlam. Rumors even suggest he might interfere in a high-profile match. It did add to the excitement and uncertainty surrounding his future.

Despite the anticipation, Bray Wyatt’s WWE return remains uncertain on paper. Additionally, his iconic masks for The Fiend were reportedly knocked-down last year. It did add to the mystery of what lies ahead for the enigmatic wrestler.
