And after a standout performance from HOOK last night, Khan has been receiving his fair share of praise for booking him in the main event against the world champ.

The incident seems more like an unexpected call as it came amidst the wild social media rallies against the AEW head honcho for his comparison between Hook and WWE’s Jinder Mahal. But now it has all been appeased thanks to the blockbuster match for AEW World Championship featuring the ‘Handsome Devil’ HOOK.

Samoa Joe won the match but HOOK won hearts at North Charleston Coliseum tonight

AEW delivered a stellar show tonight at AEW Dynamite. In a nail-biting main event, Samoa Joe defended the AEW World Championship against Hook. Joe showed early domination in the commercial-free bout and put HOOK through the announce table. But Hook endured it as well as surviving a powerbomb on the apron afterward. He staged an incredible comeback and had the crowd at the edge of their seats.
