Hulk Hogan Defeats Travis Kelce, Don Frye, and Others to Grab the First Spot in This Very Niche Poll

WWE legend and Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is admired not only by the fans in professional wrestling, but by all sports aficionados. A recent poll corroborates the statement. He beat big names in the sports industry to land the first spot on the prestigious list.

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and UFC legend Don Frye were some of the many names that he beat to claim the top position in the poll.

Hulk Hogan Voted ‘Greatest Mustache In History’

Lucky Block Casino recently conducted a poll among 1000 sports fans and asked them to vote on who they think has the best mustache in the sports industry. 36.2% of the people voted for Hogan, thus giving him the first spot in the poll.

Arsenal star David Seaman and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce were just behind him with 29% and 11% votes, respectively. The head coach for the Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid, and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers occupied the fourth position with 8% of people voting for them.

Combat sports legend Don Fyre followed them on the list with a vote of 7.8%. The horseshoe stache has been a big part of Hogan’s life and career. It is his signature look in the industry. Picturing a stacheless Hogan seems awkward, but do you know that there was a time when Hogan shaved his lip foliage?

Hogan has been in the entertainment industry since the 80s. Whenever fans saw him, he always sported his iconic horseshoe stache. But in the late 90s, he went around clean-shaven. He was also filming some movies during that time, which coincided with his mustacheless storyline.

In WCW, Hogan and heel stable Dungeon of Doom engaged in a rivalry throughout the fall and winter of 95–96. During their feud with the heel stable, they attacked him. The Big Show (who went by the name The Giant) at the time knocked him and shaved his mustache, bringing out his evil character.

For some time, fans had to see him roam around the promotion with no lip foliage. But after a few weeks, he grew it back.
