Hulk Hogan vs The Iron Sheik, the match that made the two wrestlers immortal, was the talk of the town back in the 80s, back when kayfabe was still intact and the Hulkamania was still running wild throughout the globe.

The two titans of the industry met inside the most famous arena in sports entertainment, the Madison Square Garden, aka The Garden.

It was WWE’s classic way of telling a story, heel Sheik from Iran degrading the Americans and its flag, and eventually, the American hero, the Hulkster rose to the occasion and put the heel down for one, two, and three.

However, it looks like The Iron Sheik is still not over with that loss in 1984. Recently, a fan took to Twitter and what is the happiest moment as a sports fan, to which Sheik replied saying when he put the Hulkster into a Camel Clutch.

“WHEN I PUT THAT DUMB SON OF A B*TCH HULK HOGAN IN THE CAMEL CLUTCH AT THE MADISON SQUARE GARDEN”

That night, history was made. The crowd inside the Garden were outraged at Sheik for being an obnoxious heel and just wanted the All-American Hulk Hogan to end his reign of terror as the WWF champion.

Hogan became the first person to break out of Sheik’s devastating Camel Clutch submission, and the whole crowd just lost their minds when the Hulkster broke the lock and carried Sheik on his back.
