“I Don’t Want Rock”: WWE Legend Advises Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to Stay Out of WrestleMania 38

Since Roman Reigns has returned to WWE in SummerSlam 2020, he became The Tribal Chief Head of the Table and turned heel and fans have been expecting a Rock vs Roman Reigns match to happen soon.

The Rock is one of the best WWE superstars of all time, while Reigns is the current ace of the company. Both superstars are also related and come from the famed Anoa’i family.

Recently, WWE Legend Bubba Ray Dudley was on the Busted Open Podcast. There he talked about the potential return of The Rock at WrestleMania 38. The Rock could come out after the title unification match. Bubba Ray shared his opinion on Dwayne Johnson.

Bubba said, “I don’t want Rock getting involved in the match. I don’t want any chicanery with him, tripping somebody up. If he’s there, I want that challenge – I want face-to-face, family vs. family, blood vs. blood, ‘Head of the Table, I challenge you next year.”

According to Bubba Ray Dudley, the face-off between The Rock and Roman after the match is over will be epic. Their storyline can be like The Rock and John Cena. The fans will already know the main event of the following year’s WrestleMania.

If The Rock interferes with the match, the ending of the title unification match will not be that exciting. WWE has built strongly the match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. The match should see a winner at the end of the night.

Whether Roman Reigns wins or losses at Mania, an epic stare-down with The People’s Champ after the match will start a new chapter for The Tribal Chief.

WrestleMania 38 is already said to be the best Mania of all time. The match card looks solid and with big names appearing on it, fans are surely going to witness big moments. However, we know WWE always has major surprises for big events.

Bubba Ray Dudley in the podcast addressed The Rock’s return as a major surprise. He said, “If you’re gonna have The Rock at WrestleMania this year as a surprise – and that’s one hell of a surprise – ‘If you smell,’ that’s one hell of a surprise.”

With Stone Cold returning this year, fans will go crazy if The Rock’s music hits. Especially, if he comes out to confront Roman Reigns.
