Charlotte Flair herself is a brand in WWE’s women’s division. There are very few women in the company who can match the legacy of the former Women’s SmackDown champion. But it seems like the Queen has more aspirations in her life both inside and outside the squared circle.

Flair is only two steps away from reaching the record of John Cena and his legendary father Ric Flair in terms of WWE world titles. Her recent WrestleMania loss against Rhea Ripley was devastating, but she is determined to come back with added motivation.

The Queen has been on hiatus ever since her loss at the biggest stage last month. That being said, she got her motivation doubled to bounce back in the meantime. Despite being an exemplary wrestler herself, Flair believes she needs to reach the level of some legendary wrestlers such as John Cena, and The Rock, at some point in her career.

She also pointed out one of her drawbacks that can cause some delay in her next move. During a recent interview with Boardroom tv, the former Diva’s champion noted, ‘‘I think now, it’s just getting to that next level. Like, I know that my name is popular within sports entertainment, but I wanna get to that male level of John Cena, The Rock, and Batista still. I want to cross over like my dad has so gracefully, and I’ll continue to do that until I get to that point. I hate that I started so late in the game, but I’m here. I think that’s just a matter of time.”

“It’s Crazy”: WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair Reveals the Backstory Behind Her Move to Pro Wrestling

It’s pertinent to note that when Charlotte mentioned getting to the next level, she didn’t necessarily mean it only in terms of wrestling.

Charlotte Flair wanted to explore herself more and not only as a wrestler

Wrestling superstars have some innate qualities that help them explore various other professions, especially acting. Their toned physique, in-ring charisma, and talking ability all are synonymous with a top Holywood’s actors’ key criteria. That’s why we got some phenomenal Holywood hunks, including Cena, Dwyane, The Rock Johnson, and Batista, who had their roots in the WWE ring.

Like many, the 36-year-old former champion also adores their sky-high achievements on the silver screen. Hence, she not only followed in their footsteps in her wrestling pursuit but also wants to give herself a chance to shine in the glamour world. Hinting at that slightly, Flair added, ‘I’m more comfortable, so now it’s putting myself in positions where I’m not as comfortable. Seeing what happens, what that will look like, whether that’s auditions, where do I fit in what roles, absolutely? Sports entertainment is my home, but [it’s] seeing what I can take from what I’ve learned in the ring elsewhere.’

Although only time will say whether Ric Flair’s daughter will try her hands on Hollywood or not, it doesn’t seem impossible at all. After all, The Queen is one of the popular stars today and will be eager to make a name for herself beyond the ring.
