Recently, Brandi Rhodes, wife of WWE superstar Cody Rhodes, opened up about her not-so-good experience. The 40-year-old shared her story on social media platform X, erstwhile Twitter.

What did Cody Rhodes say to his wife’s complaint?

Cody Rhodes met Brandi during their stints in WWE in the early 2010s. Following a period of courtship, they decided to tie the knot and got married on September 12, 2013. The couple has since been inseparable, to the point that Mrs. Rhodes asked for her release after The Prince of Pro Wrestling left WWE in 2016.

She followed him to the Indies and later to AEW, which the 38-year-old built with help from others. On June 18, 2021, the Rhodes welcomed a daughter- Liberty Iris Runnels- together. As per Brandi Rhodes, she was body-shamed after becoming a mother. The 40-year-old former WWE ring announcer tweeted, “I read on here that I lost my looks after my pregnancy.” She then took a jab at her haters.

In the world of pro wrestling, often wrestlers fall in love and marry within the industry. There’s Cody and Brandi Rhodes, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, Malakai Black and Zelina Vega, and the list is long.

Recently, while speaking to the host of ‘Ring The Belle’ podcast, Mrs. Rhodes named one couple she and her husband would want to face if they ever get the opportunity.

When asked the question, Rhodes was quick to answer Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. While there’s no direct beef between the couples, Cody Rhodes and his wife had taken a massive shot at Hunter on AEW in 2019.

The American Nightmare had used The Game’s signature sledgehammer to break a throne that had Triple H’s logo affixed to it, signaling the start of AEW’s rivalry with WWE. Four years later, they work in the same company, but it would still be interesting to see two families with rich wrestling histories between them, lock horns.
