Vince McMahon and his wrestling promotion WWE are unarguably the best in the business. But not everyone has had a great time at the promotion and deals often end on a sour note. Due to the same, Vince has faced extreme criticism from his ex-employees after they were released by WWE. Former IC Champion Ryback is among the top critics who do not shy away from going against the former chairman of WWE.

Recently, he made headlines when he expressed his desire to marry McMahon’s wife, Linda, just to rile him up. Now he has added a new layer to his criticism by stating that his life was at risk in the WWE.

Ryback feels like he saved his life by exiting WWE in 2016

‘The Big Guy’ is known for his stiff wrestling style and his big mouth. Since his exit, he has been very vocal about his frustration with Mr. McMahon. His rant on Twitter is the latest chapter of his rage against his former boss.

Ryback took to Twitter on 13th August to remind everyone of his side of the story. He tweeted: “Reminder of the truth. I walked away from WWE in 2016 on a multimillion-dollar deal, to save my health and life. I tried multiple times to express to them something serious was going on with my back and shoulder, and I had to just get out if I was going to figure it out.

He states that he walked out of WWE due to injury concerns despite being offered a multi-million dollar deal. The issues were related to his back and shoulder, which WWE was not interested in letting him attend to.

He further explained how Vince used his power to defame and control Ryback. He said, “They immediately sent a letter demanding I hand over all my social media accounts with an NDA in 2016 when I wasn’t going to re-sign with the company. They were denied, and immediately had me silenced and suppressed. They then began pumping out fake articles to turn the wrestling fan base against me while minimizing and trying to discredit my voice and brand.

Ryback accuses Vince and WWE of creating false narratives about him in public. He also feels that Vince uses his power to suppress Ryback’s voice against WWE by discrediting Ryback’s voice and brand. But has it been enough to stop Ryback?

Ryback eyes pro wrestling return

Ryback has declared that he will return to pro wrestling soon as he is fit and out of his ailments. In the tweet, he declared that his social media accounts are completely restored and his health is back.

The tweet says, “I strive to keep moving forward with love, but must fight for what is right until the truth fully wins and my social media accounts are restored to normal. I’ve been blessed to get my health fully back and find true love and happiness in life. The future is going to be absolutely amazing.
