Foley said, “It’s one of those ironic twists and it’s my most memorable match. But for many years, I remembered very little of it. I was knocked unconscious in that one, legit you know like I’d seen stars a lot of times but that was the only time that I think time went by without me realizing it and this is it so you know go off the cell I guess I’ve written about it.”

He added, “I can say alright that went pretty well and left me thinking, or at least the worst part of my life is over with and that didn’t turn out to be the case.”

Mick Foley gave a match of a career that night. He took two falls off the 20ft Cell on the floor and still stood up to complete the match.

WWE did not plan the second fall in the match against The Undertaker

Mick Foley Vs The Undertaker Hell in a Cell match at King of the Ring 1998 is one of the most memorable matches in WWE history. The two major spots of the match were The Phenom throwing Foley off the Cell on the announcing table, and secondly, Foley landing in the ring, breaking the roof of the Cell after taking a Chokeslam from The Deadman.

However, the first fall was planned by the producers and the WWE superstars, but the second fall was an impromptu one that happened on the spot. The roof of the cell wasn’t strong enough to hold the weight of both 300+ pounds taking bumps above.
