Currently, the WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has become a part of talks among wrestling fans. And the reason behind this is an old audio clip that has gone viral. In the audio, Hogan is opening up about the infamous moment that happened at WCW Bash at the Beach.

That incident snatched the image of the ‘kids’ hero’ from Hogan. In the audio, ‘The Hulkster’ also talked about his original plan after leaving WCW. And that’s what attracted the fans most.  

What was the plan of Hulk Hogan after leaving WCW?

A few weeks ago, a never-before-heard audio of Hulk Hogan came forward. The video is about the infamous incident that happened at WCW ‘Bash at the Beach’ involving Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo. In one segment of the audio, Hogan is talking about his future plans at that time after he said goodbye to the WCW.

The WWE Hall of Famer expressed his wish to retire and have fun with his kids. But he mentioned that he couldn’t do that because he had a point to prove.

Hogan mentioned that he doesn’t care what Randy Savage, Vince McMahon, or others think about him, and wants to prove his point. 

In the audio, Hulk Hogan said, “I would really like to retire because I know I can’t spend the damn money I got in the bank back… I’m damn sure to have fun helping my kids and everybody else………I’m really p****d off. I don’t know how I’m going to get even with this Russo guy.

He added, No matter what Randy Savage thinks about me or what David Schultz thinks about me or what Vince McMahon or Pat Patterson think about me. I don’t hate anybody because I understand human beings. But now I’m p****d. I just like to prove a point.”

WCW Bash at the Beach 2000 was truly one of the most infamous events in the history of professional wrestling. It turned Hulk Hogan’s image completely upside down in front of the cameras.

What happened at Bash at the Beach?

Wrestling fans were ready to witness a match between Hulk Hogan and Jeff Jarrett at WCW Bash at the Beach 2000. However, nothing like that happened as Jarrett let Hogan win by laying in the center of the ring allowing Hogan to pin him.

Not only this but WCW head writer Vince Russo threw the championship at him showing his displeasure and stripping Hogan of the title. Hogan was furious about everything that happened and ended up leaving the company.

Later Russo justified his actions by saying that Hogan used his creative control to alter the finish match.

Two years after that incident, Hulk Hogan returned to WWE and reformed his stable with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, but it remained with him and the wrestling fans forever.
