During his time as the CEO of WWE, Vince McMahon left an indelible mark on the pro wrestling business. Many wrestlers loved working under him, others felt he was too controlling while some had nothing but praise for the 77-year-old. A former WWE wrestler recently discussed their experience of working with the charismatic ex-WWE CEO.

Many have described McMahon as a hands-on boss who likes to micro-manage things. Some even say he likes to stamp his own authority on ideas that are presented to him.

She stated, “I had amazing experiences with him, and he took all my ideas, and I debuted the next week, so I feel like the madness of Vince McMahon was really, really interesting and cool and positive for me to witness.”

Green also gave her opinion of McMahon’s retirement, comparing him to Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner.

She said, “Him no longer being involved in the business is crazy. It’s kind of like Hugh Hefner dying. Is Playboy still Playboy without Hugh Hefner?”

It seems Green enjoyed her time working with McMahon and she thinks highly of her former boss.

Prior to release, she was seemingly in line for a push. She competed in a Fatal-4-way match to determine a spot on the SmackDown Survivor Series women’s team, which Liv Morgan won. It was revealed that the original plan was for Green to be victorious.

After her release from WWE, Chelsea Green joined Ring of Honor, being introduced by Mike Kanellis Bennett. After suffering another injury, she would then return to Impact Wrestling where she teamed up with her real-life fiance, Matt Cardona, to defeat Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood in an inter-gender tag team match.
