Stephanie McMahon, the current co-CEO of WWE, has been married to Triple H for over 20 years. The couple began dating during their on-screen storyline romance in 2000. Their dating saga became infamous because Triple H was rumored to be in a relationship with former WWE star Joanie Laurer, aka Chyna.

Triple H and Chyna were both parts of the D-Generation X. The duo had begun a relationship in 1996, but it fell apart after Triple H and Stephanie got involved in an on-screen romance that eventually turned into a real-life relationship.

Before this saga, Kevin Nash, along with Scott Hall, had left WWE to join WCW.

During a recent episode of his ‘Kliq This’ podcast, Nash revealed he was talking to Triple H when he was dating Stephanie and wondered what happened with Chyna, who was still a part of DX during that time.

He also said there was a lot of tension between Chyna and Stephanie. He added, “There was some tension, I think. Joanie [Laurer] said she was going to end Stephanie’s life. Yeah, it was f****d up.”

Laurer was quite upset over the whole situation and had a difficult time.

The saga was one of the most talked about love triangles in pro wrestling history.

Chyna left WWE in 2001 and never returned. She, unfortunately, passed away in 2016, from a possible overdose at the age of 46.

During her time in WWE, Chyna was a trailblazer. A muscular, well-built woman, she made her debut in 1997 as a bodyguard for DX duo Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

She would often wrestle and feud with male competitors. She became the first woman in WWE history to hold the Intercontinental Championship. ‘The Ninth Wonder of the World’ also won the WWE Women’s title once in her career.
