John Cena Rated-R: WWE Legend Has Shed Away from His ‘PG’ Persona in Latest Project

John Cena has taken on a special role in Hollywood that has brought back The Attitude Era to the fans.

Recently, Cena’s new series, The Peacemaker, was finally released. Now, in the series, the F-Bomb has been dropped 220 times, and John Cena is responsible 104 of those.

The Peacemaker is a character who will do whatever it takes to achieve peace. Therefore, language is definitely not one of his concerns! The HBO Max series has been quite the hit since its debut on-screen and has taken over other popular series in terms of ratings and views!

John Cena played The Peacemaker in Suicide Squad 2

The first time fans saw him in this role was in Suicide Squad 2. In fact, this is the first time the character was brought to the audience. No one quite knew what to expect from it.

However, the fans loved the character, especially with John Cena portraying the same. Now, it became such a big hit that HBO Max offered a spin-off series based just on The Peacemaker. Of course, Cena could not decline this huge offer and jumped right into it!

Apart from that, Cena is also busy with other movies such as Vacation Friends 2 and could also be a part of Fast and Furious 10 after making his debut in the franchise as Jakob Toretto in F9.

The Champ may not come back to WWE anytime soon

At the present moment, WWE already has one megastar working with them – Brock Lesnar.

So, it isn’t likely that the company will bring back another megastar for a second time within the year. The more megastars that come back, the more the younger talent gets buried in their shadow! Moreover, while fans want to see Cena in WWE, they also want WWE to give younger talents a push.

The last time Cena was at WWE was during SummerSlam 2021. He went up against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship and lost. This was the same event where Brock Lesnar returned!

Maybe Brock Lesnar will be departing after WrestleMania 38 and another megastar will return at that point. Perhaps The Rock!
