John Cena: The WWE Legend Who Supported Now Defunct 205 Live Show on Peacock

16-time World Champion John Cena is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. He has a huge fan base and loves entertaining people. Cena transcended WWE to become a megastar in Hollywood and remains one of the company’s biggest draws.

If his list of accolades is not enough, John Cena also seems to have great respect backstage in WWE.

Many WWE Superstars over the years have come out and said that they love asking for the veteran’s advice. Cena also seems to enjoy helping young talent bloom in WWE as evidenced by his support for 205 Live.

The show is now defunct, but it looks like Cena saw real potential in the talent on the roster. Former WWE Superstar Ariya Daivari recently tweeted a few photos from his days at 205 Live and called John Cena the biggest fan of the now-defunct show.

Daivari no longer wrestles with WWE and has made appearances in New Japan Pro Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling.

While John Cena remains incredibly popular, he has often received mixed reactions both by fans and backstage in WWE. Most wrestlers and fans sing praises of Cena, but there are a few wrestlers who have had no good things to say about the WWE Legend.

Few wrestlers have accused him of holding young talent back to his advantage back when he worked full time. Cena has acknowledged these rumors himself, many times, most famously in a promo with Roman Reigns.

‘The Big Dog’ had accused Cena of burying young talent, to which Cena gave a fitting reply. He told Roman that it was not he who decides who gets over with the fans; it is the WWE Universe that decides.

John Cena is a polarizing figure, and that involves being loved and criticized all the same. There are many WWE Superstars who have thanked Cena for his great advice.

Most prominently, Becky Lynch has said many times that John Cena’s pearls of wisdom helped her gain insight into her character in WWE. No matter what one thinks of Cena, there is no doubt that he changed the game and will always be one of the most popular WWE Superstars in history.
