Keldon Johnson Attends WWE Raw, Joins Team John Cena After Winning Gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

The world of pro-wrestling has seen multiple crossovers from different sports where athletes from different spectrums collaborate with WWE and give the audience a treat. This happened at this week’s M0nday Night Raw when Keldon Johnson made a WWE appearance with the gold medal draped on his neck at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Keldon Johnson is an American professional basketball player for the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs.

Keldon Johnson appears on Monday Night Raw
Before the RAW Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley started their non-title match, we saw Olympic gold medalist basketball player Keldon Johnson at ringside. The Spurs player waved to the crowd.

Later, the Olympic gold medalist got backstage and shared his memory of watching WWE as a kid while he was growing up. He also revealed how involved he was in pro wrestling.

He said, “Being able to come and see WWE Raw is something I grew up watching as a kid. So coming here, and actually seeing it live, being so close to the ring. I had an amazing time.”

Johnson also got behind John Cena and backed him for his match at SummerSlam.
“I’mma go with John Cena, he’s one of my favorite wrestlers. So team Cena.”

Furthermore, Keldon Johnson candidly spoke about his Tokyo Olympics 2020 appearance and experience.
“It’s definitely been a blessing. Being able to go and compete for our country, going out there, and putting USA across my chest is definitely been a great experience. It’s so hard to put in so many words, it’s like a dream come true. Being able to hold the medal, finally getting it in my hands after the game, after the ceremony. It was crazy… I kinda got chills going through my body; it felt like it was surreal.”
