The unstoppable Bobby Lashley and his ambition reached a screeching halt at Backlash 2020 earlier today. In his much-awaited match, he was bested by Drew McIntyre.

Lashley wanted McIntyre’s title at any cost and stomped over everyone on his way to it. He wanted to salvage any advantage he could against his equally powerful foe.

McIntyre struggled in vain to break free from this surprise attack. The officials tried to break the hold, but Lashley refused to let go.

Lashley had finished off half the fight in Drew McIntyre already, and the match hadn’t even started! McIntyre quickly picked up and adapted to the situation, matching Lashley’s intensity. Before we could even realize, McIntyre was on top!

Lashley used his brute force to fight McIntyre off. He possessed the advantage over McIntyre and could certainly endure more than him after what had unfolded before the match began.

However, Lashley’s ex-manager Lana decided to crash the party! She walked up to the ring to advise Lashley or something of the sort.

Lana drew Lashley’s attention away from Drew McIntyre

Lana had been replaced by MVP as Lashley’s manager, and his success after that has left her salty as ever. She was determined to take her revenge on MVP.

In an attempt to prove her worth to Lashley, she climbed onto the ring and called out to Lashley. All this while McIntyre was right before his eyes!

This momentary lapse gave McIntyre the opportunity he needed to deliver a decisive and thumping Claymore to Lashley, ending the fight.

MVP was livid, as was evident from his glare. While Lana was trying to come to terms with what she had just done. Lashley will now have to hold hope out for the title.

The battle may be won but is the war over for Drew McIntyre? Lashley will inevitably come back, a wolf at his door. For now, McIntyre has proved why he is the champion.
