WWE finally revealed the first set of information about their upcoming video game. The most interesting detail that they announced was the cover stars for WWE 2k24. While there are a total of three cover stars for the video game, Cody Rhodes will be featured on the cover of the standard edition of the game.

This can be seen as a celebration for many fans who had been waiting for “The American Nightmare” to get his due respect from the promotion. Moreover, supporters of the wrestler also shared their joy on the occasion, including the wife of a deceased AEW star.

Cody Rhodes and Brodie Lee had been good friends while working at AEW. Unfortunately, the former WWE star passed away in December 2020, the same year that he joined AEW. However, Rhodes, along with a few other colleagues of Lee, kept in touch with his family. Even when Rhodes left the promotion, he didn’t hide his ties with the Lee family, despite their professional association with AEW.

After Rhodes was announced as the cover star for the video game that will come out in 2024, Brodie Lee’s wife, Amanda Huber took to Twitter to celebrate the moment by paying the WWE star a small tribute.

The official video game page for WWE 2k24 uploaded the cover poster for the game with the chorus lyrics for Cody Rhodes’ theme song written in the caption. Huber took it up a notch by reposting the post and extending the caption probably using her favorite part of the song, “Now you bow to me. You took my dreams, but not my name. You’ll follow me until the end. I am my kingdom 💙❤”

The AEW employee used the lyrics of the same ‘Kingdom’ song written by the band Downstait to pay tribute to the wrestler for achieving something impressive.

This could be Huber’s way to pay back Cody Rhodes for being so kind to her and the Lee family despite her husband’s passing. Even recently, “The American Nightmare” was there to surprise Lee Jr. on his special day.

Recently, the former AEW star met up with Will Hobbs, another AEW star, to surprise Brodie Lee’s son on his birthday. The young boy is growing every day and Rhodes doesn’t want to miss his ‘special day’ of the year and decided to show up alongside Hobbs.

He then took to social media to upload images from the special day. The sight was wholesome for fans to witness. Huber can also be seen treating Rhodes with the same kindness and affection that he treats her family.
