Canadian head coach Bruce Boudreau decided to spice things up in the Canucks locker room. He introduced a Canucks Championship Belt. This WWE-inspired gimmick will motivate players to battle for one championship belt in the spirit of the sport.

As it turns out, Bruce Boudreau is a big professional wrestling fan. The head coach flexed his WWE intelligence during an interview on the NHL Network. The Canucks coach’s favorite player is his Canadian fellow mate, Kevin Owens.

Global’s Jay Janower asked Bruce Boudreau to list his top 5 favorite wrestlers of all time. Bruce stated he would go with all Canadian wrestlers. The coach said, “Bret Hart’s number one.”
