Even before fans were accustomed to seeing the Second City Saint in action under the WWE ring following a long absence, things came to a screaming halt for Punk. He confirmed that he suffered a severe injury at last week’s Monday Night Raw, leaving his fans in blue. However, to their relief, the former AEW world champion promised a monumental comeback like always.

CM Punk’s return from the injury might not be as far we fans perceived

It looked like Punk allegedly suffered an arm injury during the Royal Rumble match, with a few attentive fans spotting him suffering in pain. The Chicago-based star landed on his right elbow after receiving a Future Shock DDT from Drew McIntyre. After the nature of the injury came to light last week, wrestling fans sufficed that this would put Punk on the shelf for a good chunk of 2024, including an absence at WrestleMania. To add to the misery, some reports claim, that his body is no longer fit to take the consequences of pro-wrestling. Amidst all this negativity, the Best in The World himself splashed out some ray of hope in his latest tweet.
