“My Left Leg Is 15% Paralyzed”: 385 Lbs WWE Monster, Who Took Down Brock Lesnar, Is Suffering From Severe Health Issues

It’s a given in pro wrestling that injuries are commonplace. Over the years, many careers have ended due to grave injuries that happen during the action. WWE’s Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman, is now dealing with a major health scare. The former Universal Champion recently confirmed that he underwent neck fusion surgery.

However, ahead of his surgery, he revealed that his left leg is moderately paralyzed. Strowman has been MIA for over a month. Strowman last appeared on WWE programming on the May 1 edition of Raw. But, his recent level 1 neck fusion surgery could keep him out of commission for some time. Moreover, Strowman will require some additional time for rest and recovery.

While speaking with Fightful, the 39-year-old star revealed the severity of health issues he has dealt with. Medical personnel forced the Monster of All Monsters to switch shoes due to the unfavorable complications on his legs. He said, My feet are really weird. So my right arch is collapsed on my right foot, and my left leg is 15% paralyzed. So I switched to these new shoes. It’s a U.K. brand called [Vivobarefoot] that is actually helping me strengthen my feet.”

Braun Strowman’s wrestling career so far has been nothing short of spectacular. WWE’s Strongman had feuded with the biggest names in the business like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and others. In a brief span, Strowman achieved various accolades in the Stamford-based company. Without a doubt, he is one of the most dreaded superstars due to his imposing bodily appearance. And he also has the skill to back it up.

Further during the interview, Braun Strowman recalled his time away from the company in 2020. In case you have forgotten, Braun Strowman was one of the many superstars that were released by WWE during the global pandemic due to budget cuts. According to him, as hard as it was spending time away from WWE, he needed it to realize how important his job was to him.

“As much as I did, at first, it was a hard pill to swallow, but it was something I realized I needed because, at the time, I was just mentally going crazy, not just with WWE but with everything in life,” he continued, “So, it was an opportunity to take a step back and truly realize how amazing it is to work here and how truly blessed my career has been,” said Strowman.

Furthermore, while being away from the company, Strowman stunned the fans with his body transformation. The WWE star provided a health update for wrestling fans after undergoing surgery.

Although Braun Strowman is away, he has a good feeling that he will be back soon. As noted, Braun Strowman had a Level 1 neck fusion on his C4 and C5 in his vertebrae. Strowman took to his social media to give his fans a glimpse of his surgery.

Now that the surgery is complete, Strowman is positive that his road to recovery has begun. Strowman also thanked WWE for taking care of him through his ordeal. At this point, Strowman’s recovery time remains unknown but, the Monster did state “I’ll be back” in his post.

Strowman returned to WWE after Triple H assumed control of the Creative. Following his return, he collided with WWE’s giant, Omos. Before getting sidelined due to the hapless circumstances, Strowman performed alongside Ricochet as tag team partners.
