“No Matter What I Do…” John Cena’s Brother Once Opened Up About the Difficulties of Being His Sibling

The hardcore fans of wrestling would know everything about their beloved wrestler, John Cena, but they might not know about his family. To make a person successful, there are many who put in their hard work and sacrifices. Most of them go unheard, like that of Cena’s brother Dan. However, he once opened up about his deep feelings before his popular brother was about to enter the show.  

The Massachusetts-born wrestler is the son of Italian descent who married his mother, Carol Frances, an English ancestry having half-French-Canadian origin. Along with him, the parents of The Champ had four more sons, namely Steve, Dan, Sean, and Matt. One among the four is a police sergeant who once also appeared with The Prototype in a show where he shared something personal with everyone.

Cena’s younger brother once shared his deep-down feelings 

In 2019, Dan Cena made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show with his elder brother, John. However, at the start of the show, Dan shared a real-life instance, in between which The Champ entered looking all shocked.

He talked about how everyone around him is more concerned about The Face of the WWE than him or his work. Dan then reflected on how even if he catches drugs, guns, and any such dangerous stuff from someone, not much attention is paid to him. Despite making great accomplishments, he remains unappreciated. On the other hand, people keep asking him about his famous brother, ignoring the big save that he has done.

Dan said, “That there’s a huge one-up factor, that no matter what I do and what big save I may have or what I do, everyone always says, “Well, what’s your “brother up to and what’s he doin?” I’m like, “You guys just see what I just did back there?” 

Even though the younger brother talked about how the 16-time World Champion’s popularity affects him, John didn’t fail to acknowledge his qualities on the show.

During the show, The Cenation Leader took the opportunity to talk about his disciplined brother and his love for his duty. The heartfelt statements by Cena are proof in themselves that how much he admires his young brother. 

John said, “He loves his work, and he never once takes it home with him, and he’s a wonderful father, and a wonderful husband, and a wonderful brother.” 

We hope both siblings share the same love and admiration for each other for the rest of their lives.
