“Pro Wrestling Is Alive Again”: WWE Break 6-Year-Old Record Days After Vince McMahon’s Comeback

WWE is a well-known promotion in the world of wrestling. Over the years, it has grown its popularity immensely. A newfound evidence of it is the record-breaking buzz for its upcoming event.

WrestleMania 39 is the forthcoming event of the company which has already shattered the all-time gate record. Many are presuming it to be an effect of Vince McMahon’s comeback. 

Prior to this, the roster has such a large gate in 2016 during WrestleMania 32 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. However, the previous record was $17.3 million, whereas the current gate is more than $18 million. This time the show is going to be held in Los Angeles Chargers’ SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

One more attractive element of this year’s event is its theme. This will be WWE’s first “WrestleMania Goes Hollywood” themed event since WrestleMania 21.

The 2005 theme worked for the company as their objective of getting fans excited about the event was achieved. The same results are assumed for this year as well. 

As per some reports, the company nearly sold out the tickets for the two-day event. One can expect almost 50,000 wrestling fans to attend the grand show.
