WWE Payback is only a few hours away. One of the most sought after matches of the night is Keith Lee vs. Randy Orton. This will be Lee’s first match right after he debuted on the main roster.

In his first match against Randy Orton, the former NXT Champion showed a glimpse of his immense strength. However, the match was cut short, thanks to Drew McIntyre.

As a result, Keith Lee will have his rematch against Orton. There are multiple directions in which the match could go but we are going to focus on the two most plausible ones.

We all saw how Keith Lee overpowered ‘The Viper’ on Monday. WWE surely wants Keith Lee to gain some momentum of his own. If Drew McIntyre does not intervene, it will be a cakewalk for Lee.

WWE could book this storyline for the future as well. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is not looking good with his skull fracture.

So, it is a matter of time before Randy wins his 14 World title. Keith Lee can challenge Randy then to claim the spotlight and the title.

The other side of the coin is really predictable. The ‘Legend Killer’ buries the NXT newbie and goes after the WWE Champion. Randy has the experience and WWE will surely utilize it.

However, we really don’t think WWE will let Keith Lee wander into oblivion. Keith Lee will later go after whoever the Champion is in the future.

There is a huge possibility that the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre makes an appearance at WWE Payback. He will only be a distraction in the match.

If his appearance costs Keith Lee his rematch, Lee will have a reason to go after the Champion. There will also be a possibility for the championship match to become a triple threat with Lee, McIntyre, and Orton.

Don’t forget to tune into WWE Payback tonight. The PPV will stream live on WWE Network.
