Hulk Hogan is, without a doubt, one of the greatest and most iconic wrestlers of all time. His physical features, character, and charm combined to make him the hottest seller of the time. However, the origin of his name has been a topic of discussion among WWE fans. In response, he mentioned the interview wherein the question “Are you bigger than Hulk?” was asked. The reporter was referring to the 1970s tv show The Incredible.

If you didn’t know, one of the best bodybuilders of the time, Lou Ferrigno, who had a massive physique, weighed 280 pounds, and stood close to 6 feet tall, was portrayed as The Hulk in the show. Replying to the reporter’s question, Hulkster introduced himself as Terry ‘The Hulk’ Boulder. Consequently, Vince McMahon gave it the name Hulk Hogan when he joined the WWF (now WWE).
