Apparently, the Englishman is open to a major wrestling return. In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Barrett laid down the simple terms that would convince him to come out of retirement.

“In truth, if I was to come back as a full-time in-ring guy, I really would be chasing the sunset of my career. I don’t think there’s that many more years left in me,” explains Barrett.

“So the question is, what would I want to achieve? The only thing I didn’t achieve in WWE that I always wanted to achieve was to become the WWE Champion, and that title is now held by an old friend of mine, Drew McIntyre.”

“So taking him on for that title is something that certainly might tempt me back for a match or two,” concluded Barrett.

The former Nexus leader was never one to beat around the bush. He has made his intentions clear, and there’s really no reason as to why this can’t happen.

After his Nexus days, wade Barrett was not properly used. In reality, he never really recovered from that loss to John Cena and WWE buried his character.

However, time heals all wounds, and Barrett has a very tempting chance to return. The feud between him and Drew McIntyre will be the perfect way for WWE to make a return to the UK. Will we finally see the King return to WWE, or possibly the Nexus?
