WATCH: When WWE Legend The Undertaker Taught Kane His Iconic Move in Front of Fans
The Undertaker and Kane really share a lot of great moments together, as rivals as well as Tag team partners. The name ‘Brothers of Destruction’ really brings back fond memories for WWE fans, and the two surely made the division a lot more exciting.
‘The Deadman’ was rarely seen as the man who enjoyed a joke or two, but his persona switch to Big Evil changed everything. ‘The American Badass’ was the more active version of Taker’s otherwise gravely vibe.
A funny moment that doesn’t get enough credit is when The Undertaker actually taught Kane to do his iconic move Last Ride in the ring, in front of a live crowd.

As you can see above, Taker gave Kane the step-by-step explanation, at the expense of a very unfortunate pair of opponents. Big Show wasn’t too happy either but couldn’t really do anything.
Apart from having a documentary of the same name, The Undertaker often put his opponents out with the Last Ride. Many do not understand the magnitude of this alternate finisher, which sent opponents on truly the last ride before being knocked out.
The Last Ride was a devastating finisher in every sense
When The Undertaker lifted a Superstar up for this move, it was all 6 ft 10 inches of him plus the height above his head. The drop was immense and the impact, inexplicable.

In fact, ‘The Phenom’ used this move to pin Triple H during their fight at WrestleMania 17. ‘The Game’ was sent through the air and straight to the flood, and didn’t manage to muster the power to kick out after.
Now that Taker is retired, we may never see this move again. Although, a lot of moves find similarity with the Last Ride in terms of impact. For example, the Powerbomb dwells on the same concept.

Although that move is no longer used as a finisher as much as it is a routine move, it still manages to bring the force into a match. Either way, it is quite painful to even think of the state of opponents’ backs after receiving the Last Ride from The Undertaker.
