Seth Rollins enjoyed an exceptional year in 2023, and now, with 2024 rolling in, he has already laid down the landmark to excellence by continuing his spree of successful title defenses. However, with all the wear and tear of 2023, Rollins is in pain. This was seen when he injured his leg during his last match. While his back has always been the target of his enemies, this time, another part of his body suffered a setback.

During his last match on Monday Night RAW, Rollins defended his title against Jinder Mahal. Despite claiming victory, the Monday Night Messiah couldn’t revel in the celebrations as he looked to have succumbed to an injury. Moreover, it doesn’t bode well for the champ as the WWE removed him from their schedule for their upcoming events.

Rollins has been on a roll since he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This is in stark contrast to Roman Reigns, who has not defended his title as much in 2023. Practically every month, Rollins was seen defending his title on  RAW or at a PLE.

This is the aspect of his title reign that Rollins holds so close, he is a working champion. However, all these title defenses with little to no time to recover have left Rollins prone to injuries. With his back being the most targeted area in the past, now Rollins has also been seen to have issues with his knees.

How Seth Rollins’ knees injury could spell disaster for the WWE

Right now, the train to The Royal Rumble is going full steam ahead. With Rollins being taken out of the picture, this could be disastrous for the WWE. While the WWE could keep Rollins on without performing in the ring, if the knee injury proves to be really bad, things will need to change.
