WWE Superstar Respectfully Insults Brock Lesnar: “Mike Tyson Went Into That Match Looking Past Buster Douglas”
“He called me about a year ago. This is before he got sick. I answered the phone, and I found my caller ID. I go, ‘what are you doing?’ He said, ‘I’ve been calling people all morning long. You’re the first one to answer the phone. Who is alive besides you and me?’ I said, ‘I think your brother’s alive, but you don’t see him very often’. The last three traveling world champions are me, Terry, and Dory.”
It’s good to know Funk’s doing much better than before! His wrestling career spanned over fifty years, and he even adopted a hardcore style of wrestling towards the latter half of his career.
Ric Flair and Terry Funk created history in 1989
