2023 has seen the WWE break several records when it comes to sales. Despite low viewerships, the PPV events still generate massive crowds. SummerSlam 2023 at Ford Field in Detroit grossed $8.5 million in ticket sales. As the WWE enjoys success, one wrestler was not surprised by these numbers. Reposting the WWE’s announcement, Reigns had four words to say, “Of course we did. ☝🏽 #WrestleMania.”

While Reigns currently has no card for the event, his confidence in the large number demonstrates his cocky attitude. Since Reigns has been the undisputed WWE Universal Champion for over 1,000 days, he believes people come to see him at PPV events.

Thanks to The Bloodline story featuring Reigns as The Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy, and Jey Uso, Reigns has become the biggest star in the company. Although the number of matches Reigns features in is less, the storyline keeps fans hooked. Reigns has had six matches, half of which have a 4.5-star rating, according to ProFightDB. But, the success of the WWE isn’t because of Reigns; it’s because of someone else.
