The former WWE Champion did deliver a barbaric chair shot to Gowen’s head, leaving a crimson mark in fans’ memory. Revealing further details of that match, WWE legend Kurt Angle spoke about it on his podcast The Kurt Angle Show.

He said, “You know what it was a really serious a** kicking. I honestly believe that it went a lot further than just having Brock beat him up. I think that it was sending a message to Zach, and that message was heard loud and clear. If he wasn’t a heel already from what happened in the cage, holy sh** so this…. this helped dramatically him doing this to Zach.”

In a jaw-dropping revelation, Angle pulls back the curtain on Lesnar’s wild rampage, branding it a brutal, in-your-face message tailor-made for the one-legged wrestling sensation and furthering his status as a dominant heel.

Angle added, “Because I mean, this kid was a really good wrestler. He only had one leg, unbelievable fans. Yeah, and uh, when Brock did that to him, that definitely gave him heat.”

Angle’s got a hunch that this very escapade was the match that struck the match – transforming Lesnar into the ultimate heel that fans couldn’t help but love to hate. But wait, there’s more!
