Rivalries make up the biggest part of all storylines in the world of pro wrestling. But, while on-screen rivalries are definitely entertaining, the rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins has a very real hue to it. Giving a chance to both fighters to unleash their wrath onto each other, Triple H booked them together for WrestleMania 40.

This seemed like the perfect opportunity for Seth Rollins to show CM Punk his place in the arena. However, while Rollins’ fury is limitless, his fitness levels aren’t keeping up with it. In fact, there is a fair chance that Rollins may be taken off his WrestleMania matchup against ‘The Best in the World’.

The estimated four-week recovery period, potentially longer with surgery, raises concerns about his availability for the marquee event. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, current plans still involve Rollins facing Punk at WrestleMania.

But right now he (Seth Rollins)’ is still on WrestleMania.” However, the situation remains fluid, and if the injury proves significant, these plans might change.

If Rollins has enough time for recovery before WrestleMania, there’s hope he can still defend his World title. Dave Meltzer has offered insights into how WWE might navigate this challenging situation amidst Rollins’ injury.

He said, “If it’s a month thing, though, they should probably just go with their plans. If it’s, you know, going to be two months or more, I mean, you could always do an interim if it’s going to be a couple of months.” After this, he stated that if Rollins gets invasive and not arthroscopic surgery then he will be out. Now we can just wait till Monday Night RAW for more updates from Rollins!
