Big E has seen a huge change in his WWE career over the past week. The draft has split him from The New Day and is going to pursue a solo run on SmackDown. Although many have mixed feelings about him, Sheamus has made his mind up about him.

As a former rival, Sheamus has a lot to say about Big E. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, “The Celtic Warrior” shared his thoughts on the big man.

Despite the many differences in the past and present, Sheamus believes that Big E will be right at the top someday. He said, “Big E is the full package. He’s one of the strongest guys I’ve ever seen in the gym, and he’s one of the most charismatic guys in WWE. He will be a star in this business for years to come.”

Sheamus picked the wrong fight yet again by deciding to annoy the behemoth. On the October 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Big E laid waste to the former WWE Champion.

Sheamus sees the potential in Big E to be a Champion

Instead of promising to return one day to annihilate his foe, Sheamus admits that he fought with a superior force that day. He said, “The world saw a different side of Big E, a guy that should be world champion. I hit him as hard as I could last week, and he hit me back even harder. That’s a credit to him. He brought it, and I still have the marks on my back to prove it.”

Sheamus was drafted to Raw last week, and his feud with Big E may have also subsequently come to an end. He intends on finding someone else to instigate now. “The Celtic Warrior” has his sights on Drew McIntyre and possibly the WWE Championship. Maybe someday the WWE Universe will get to see the McIntyre-Sheamus rivalry again.

Big E on the other hand is widely backed for a big push. SmackDown fans could see him enter the title picture after an elaborate build-up. On the blue brand, he has a lot of opponents, but none of them can match his strength. It seems as though the NXT Big E is back, and he will dominate.
