Roman Reigns made a major return at SummerSlam, taking out “The Fiend” right after his title win against Strowman. The Big Dog stood supreme, much to the shock and awe of the virtual fans. However, one particular thing has stood out for some fans on social media.

It’s obvious now that Roman Reigns has turned heel and has his eyes on the Universal Championship. He also has a new gimmick now and has probably ditched his ‘Shield’ persona for good.

Another aspect of Roman that saw a huge transformation was his attire. Fans have been widely discussing the words on his t-shirt as they might solve one of WWE’s biggest current mysteries.

The words on his black t-shirt read – “Wreck Everyone & Leave”. This sounds extremely familiar, doesn’t it?

That’s because WWE’s new faction Retribution have been doing the exact same thing over the past two weeks. Appearing in all black clothing and masks, the members of this faction have been vandalizing the WWE sets and ambushing the Superstars present.

The identity of these Superstars has been the topic of debate for a while now, and the closest anyone has ever come is speculation. However, now we may have a major clue.

Roman Reigns may have a big part to play in Retribution

A lot of fans are now inclined to believe that “The Big Dog” is the leader of Retribution. I’ve been thinking it over and it makes perfect sense. Retribution has been turning sets upside down over the episodes and has created enough hype around itself.

It seems like the perfect moment for their leader to be revealed, and it may very well be none other than Roman Reigns.

Unfortunately, one thing doesn’t add up. A common factor between the members of Retribution is that they all have something against their roles in WWE. They are generally considered as a group of under-utilized talents who want to get back at the company.

That being said, I don’t really see how Roman Reigns fits in with them unless he too has something on the back of his mind. If this theory is true, we’ll probably be getting more updates on SmackDown this week.

Till then, we can only imagine just how much of a boom the viewership ratings for WWE will see with the return of “The Big Dog”. WWE may just have rolled the dice right this time.
